The Program for the Investigation and Training in Careers in Health (PITCH) is an immersive three-week summer program designed to inspire and empower first-generation and low-income students interested in exploring health and medical sciences careers. Through hands-on learning and mentorship, PITCH participants will:
- Discover the healthcare landscape: Explore connections across health and medicine to gain a deeper understanding of the field.
- Collaborate with UCSF mentors: to investigate critical health issues and present their findings at the PITCH Health Symposium.
- Prepare for college success: Receive expert guidance on navigating postsecondary options and planning for your future.

Eligibility:
- Minimum 2.5 GPA (UC/CSU GPA)
- Rising 10th and 11th graders (class of ā28 & ā29)
