Since 1999, The Center for Science, Education, and Outreach has provided programs and services that lead to student academic success, increased college-going rates and exploration of various STEM careers for the students and schools we serve.

Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP)
Works closely with underserved K-12 schools to provide services that lead to academic success, exposes students and their families to health careers, and increase the number going to college.

UCSF partnership with SFUSD and OUSD K-12 community with the purpose of increasing college going rates and exposing students to STEM careers. - MAP to College
A free college-going event where San Francisco Bay Area high school seniors and their parents or guardians learn everything you need to know about applying to college.
Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA)
Serves middle and high school students in San Francisco and Oakland with the goal of enhancing math and science skills, exploring career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and ensuring that students are competitively eligible for higher education.
Transfer Preparation Program
Aims to support students to have a smooth transition from high school to community college and prepare community college students to successfully transfer to the University of California and other 4-year colleges/universities.
TRiO Programs
Students and their parent/guardian/caretaker are walked through A-G coursework to be eligible for college, apply to and enroll into college, secure financial aid, and explore career aspirations.

Summer Enrichment Programs
Explore our summer enrichment programs:
- Program for the Investigation and Training in Careers in Health (PITCH)
An immersive three-week summer program designed to inspire and empower first-generation and low-income students interested in exploring health and medical sciences careers. - CURE Research Internship Program
An opportunity for high school and City College of San Francisco students interested in health careers to spend 8-weeks at UCSF supporting various types of research.
UC San Francisco Student-Initiated Programs (SIP)
Introduces San Francisco Bay Area K–12 students to the possibilities of higher education as well as to studies and careers in the health sciences.
Community Health and Adolescent Mentoring Program for Success (CHAMPS)
This two-and-a-half-year internship at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland supports Oakland Unified School District high school students interested in health professions.
